CATS and Kitty Karma

Mai is standing over me and telling me that I MUST write something here. This time she is right. I don't like for people to see a fight when they first see my blog. That does not fit with my dove or with my self-image. LOL.

She suggested a topic. Can an obligatory carnivore be a Jain? We had read a post from Eleanor Bloom's blog where she talked about cat karma. We both laughed long and hard at that.

The answer to the question is, No. Not in this lifetime. Eventually, the soul will progress to human form. Then she can become a Jain, if she does not run into Mai and her Sikhs first.

(Mai: Lilly, is that an insult?)

No, not at all. Just a fact. You make being a Sikh look so attractive and fun and joyful.

(Mai: 'Except for that, Mrs. Kennedy, did you enjoy the parade?')

I know, but you still do, even so.

Now she says I must find at least one picture and I have to figure out what words to enter. I'll try cat mouse.

There are 7,660,000 pictures with cat mouse. I chose these. Mai said I should try cat kill mouse and cat eat mouse, but I said no. This is my blog and I am not going to show ugly, violent pictures on it. I will go no farther than describing her beating up my husband.

Now she says I need to find a cat song. I have an idea, but she has to go away while I do this. Mai, go eat a potato or something for a few minutes, please.

(Mai: OK)
Mai, you can come back now.

(Mai: Oh, you do have a sense of humour, Ms. Lilly! You win.)

What do I win? A Jain potato, maybe?
hehehehehehehehe
Now she says I need a SiteMeter. Maybe another time.

I love those photos Lilly, they made me grin.

Your conversations with Mai sound like they're quite amusing. It would be awesome if you did some posts about them.

I also want to add that I feel so peaceful whenever I see the white dove flying on your blog header. I love it. (Hmm, a duck outside just punctuated that remark with a loud squeaky quack. She agrees. Must go find some bread now...)

Thanks, Lin. I am glad you like it.

About the dove, Eleanor. She is peaceful, but she is also flying and free. I think that is what we all want. We want to be at perfect peace, soaring high into the Infinite. Moksha, Mukti, Satori, Enlightenment, Liberation. She is a she, too, not one of your raping male doves.

It is a good idea. Maybe Mai and I could write a post of a conversation. We have been teasing each other as long as we can remember, but we never thought to write it down. She is such a strong personality. She wants me to go home and write on my own computer. She wants me to write about Jaina or whatever else I can think of without reference to her. I am not comfortable writing without her backup yet. Her computer is old and slow and comfortable. I do not like our computer at home. It is new and fast and has no soul. I just let Raj play games on it.

Flying free. So true.
I was aware of that when I was tiny and could only just speak, I would say 'birdies fly' and flap my arms. I so wanted to be a bird and fly. Still do.

Don't think the 'birdies fly' thing would by quite as endearing now mind you... ;)

Ithink I might go out to Mai's garden and flap my wings and sing 'birdies fly' Who knows what would happen.

I dream about flying often. I want to be at peace and so totally free. Do you think the birds are happy when they sing? Or is it just a sex thing? They sound happy to me.

SQUAWK!!

What's all this birdie fly crap?

Birdie is worshipped.
Birdie is carried in style.
Birdie doesn't need to fly.

You humans are so stupid.

And Lilly, how could you be so crude about My Majesty? Tell Fa--Mama to get me my consort, then we could know for certain.

SQUAWK! SQUAAWWKK!! SQUAAAWWWKKK!!!

I wish I dreamed about flying more. It's been years.

I think birds are communicating mostly when they sing although a lot of it sounds happy like 'Isn't this fun? What a lovely tree of blossoms/lovely lot of flying insects to chase and eat'.

They have lots of different ways. I reckon some are
'Hey, there's some great flowers to such nectar on over here!' or, 'Hey, get your feathered ass outa here! These are our flowers!' or
'C'mon lets all sleep in this tree tonight,' or 'Harry! Where are you? Where'd you go? I'm over here!' or
'Holy crap! Alert! Alert! Much bigger bird/cat coming! Fly away! Fly away!'

But the male doves, yep, all about getting it on! (Filthy minded boys.)

[Thuku: I wasn't talking about spoiled brats like you!]

SQUAWK!

My Majesty demands and gets what she wants from her subjects!

Spoiled brat? HRUMPHPHPH! My Majesty shall direct Boo, who is a loyal subject, to poop on your head!

SCREEEEEEEEEEEECH!!!!!!!!

SQUUUAAAWWWKKK!!!

Thuki, please be nice on my blog. Haven't I always been nice to you?

Eleanor, have you tried thinking of flying as you fall asleep? Sometimes it is possible to direct your own deams. It might take some practice, but I think you should try it. I love your birdie talk.

I am devastated to learn how nasty these male doves are. Alas, to be so naive still at my age.

I dreamed about a tree full of little fluffy yellow ducklings last night. They couldn't fly, they were too small. But they were sitting in the branches.

Lilly said...

Isn't that the human condition? We are too small to fly but we're always up a tree and out on a limb. I hope we can grow up and learn to fly before we all fall off and break our wings.

Aha! At last I have found the source of Thuki's outrage! Right on!

I second the vote for the conversation between Lilly and Mai. Hup hup!!

Lilly said...

Hi, Boo!

Mai made a rare error in judgement when she gave Gathuku her own account. Thuki has gone crazy and I'm afraid others may have encouraged her.

If you want us to have a blogversation, what is your suggestion for us to talk about?

That is Mai's word. She is always stretching the limits of the English language.

My friend and I were recently talking about the prevalence of technology in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that discussion we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as memory gets less expensive, the possibility of transferring our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about every once in a while.
